The title of this blog is inspired by the film A Clockwork Orange, by Stanley Kubrick, but given a Davao twist.
A Clockwork Orange is about a dystopic future of youth gangs and government imposed mind control, and its title came from an alleged Cockney expression, “as queer as a Clockwork Orang (for Orangutan)” and has been used to refer to a mechanically responsive human.
While I used to be so much into the dystopian, cyberpunk genre, I named my blog as such to refer to the technical nature of my interest and work, and use the pun to refer to myself as a technically-inclined Davaowenyo.
